About Your RX Card

Many Henry Ford Community College faculty members - particularly those choosing the HMO option for healthcare - have coverage for prescription drugs under a Caremark prescription drug card.  This service is part of a self-insured prescription drug plan, designed and administered for Henry Ford Community College by MEBS, Inc.  By utilizing this prescription drug program, you will have access to hundreds of participating pharmacies nationwide and the security net of a prescription drug card with minimal co-pays.  Your current out-of-pocket costs (co-pays) should be limited to $10 or $20 dollars depending on whether you are using generic, formulary or brand name drugs.

Filling Prescriptions

You may have prescriptions filled at your local pharmacy (34 day supply) or through mail order (90 day supply).  For mail order prescriptions, please visit the Caremark web site.

Questions or Problems

If you have any questions and/or problems with your prescription drug plan or service, please contact MEBS at 1-800-968-6327.  MEBS customer service department can provide assistance in locating participating pharmacies, using mail order service, answering questions about specific claims and more.  Operators are available to assist you Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Who Is MEBS?

Michigan Employee Benefit Services, Inc.
