GRADED SCALE PREMIUM ALERT: UPDATE

The Local 1650 Legislative/Political Action Committee drafted the form letter provided below in response to a recently authorized State Legislative study of teacher pensions and retiree health care costs.

Given the agenda of Republican legislators over the last several years, this Committee’s conclusions can be assumed before the Committee convenes. It will call for a defined contribution pension system and/or a graded premium health benefit for retirees.

Please contact your legislators opposing these changes to MPSERS, using the letter below or one of your own composition.

To use the 1650 PAC latter in either MS Word or WordPerfect format, right click on the appropriate link below. A pop-up menu will appear. Choose the "Save As" or "Save Target As" option and save the document to whatever file you utilize for document storage on your local hard drive (i.e. "My Documents", "wpdata", etc.).

You can then open the document by simply navigating to the appropriate file through your desktop and double-clicking on it. Fill it in with your own personal information and save it.
